Winter storage prep

Stabilize the gas, overinflate the tires, clean oil, pull the battery and bring it indoors, put on battery tender. Don't start the engine unless you are able to run it at operating temp long enough to burn off any moisture - 20-30 miles equiv. Moisture left in the oil doesn't stay there - it tends to condense out onto metal parts when temps rise and fall, leading to corrosion of the big $$ parts.

I sorted mine almost continuously for 7 years. I used to pump the tyres to 45 lbs a d disconnect the battery. Always started first time and the tyre flat spots drove out in about 15 minutes.
Of course you can go a lot further with your regime. Just saying aha worked for me.

Don't start it during the winter. The engine after 2 weeks of sitting doesn't get any colder, dryer or whatever-er than sitting the whole winter. Starting it every two weeks is like starting it after the entire winter of sitting, except you did it 10 times over the whole period. It's a bad idea.
Over inflate the tires and put on a battery tender with a full tank of gas, thats it. Anything else is hearsay and internet gibberish.
