Default EVO 996TT Silicone Boost Hose Kit (Red) (special price one set in stock)

This is a brand new never installed boost hose kit that the customer decided not to have installed on their car because when he purchased the car these hoses were already installed and these were left over from a recent EVOMS GT660 Turbo Upgrade Build.

This direct replacement silicone boost hose kit will eliminate a common boost problem on the 996TT's. On most all modified 996TT's the OEM boost hoses will leak and even blow out under acceleration leaving you with a loss in power and even stranded with a car that will not run. The OEM hoses are made from a rubber material that will deteriorate with a mass produced stamped aluminum end. This aluminum end does not secure properly into the intercoolers or "Y"-Pipe causing boost leaks and boost hose blow outs. These precisely machined billet ends are a perfect tolerance for the most secure fit. The silicone is pressure tested to over 100 PSI which will not burst even under the most extreme conditions. REAL WORLD TESTED at over 30 PSI and 1000 HP! The EVO silicone & billet hose kit for the 996TT / X50 / GT2 comes as a complete bolt on kit.

The price is listed including $28 Shipping to the Continental US.

I must be missing where the price "is listed," but if it's $600 as someone else posted, and the f hose is not included, I'm missing the deal. A new set including the F hose $795 or less.
Can you state the price? I see the $28 ship cost only.
Confused....
Thanks

I agree I think it is steep, FVD are doing the same kit, including the F hose for $595. This being their standard price not a "one of" discounted offer.

Aww see this is not 100% valid or accurate. FVD is not advertising EVOMS hoses. They are advertising their own hoses for less than what EVOMS sells their hoses for. So your not comparing apples to apples. I don't know if FVD's hoses are as good as EVOMS's hoses that remains to be seen and tested, however EVOMS has a much stronger reputation with building high performance Porsche cars and supplying some of the best products available for these applications. If FVD was selling the same EVOMS hoses for less which its impossible for them to do unless they were expecting to lose money then this sale is priced very reasonably.

They sell Porsche parts. They have some of their own brands which they take other peoples performance products and label them as their own.

What kind of deal can you make if you include the missing F hose?

If you want to buy this kit and the F hose you would just need to add the two together. You can buy them right online and it will total everything for you.

You will note I haven't made any critique of one brand versus another. I merely pointed out that I agree there are more attractive prices for silicone boost hose kits, which also include the F hose.

I used FVD $595 as an example of alternative pricing. I could have used Cargraphic, $668, Design-Tek $320, Forge $294. All advertising silicone hose kits designed and tested to PSI levels way higher than our cars will ever reach, and with machined billet ends etc.

From what I have read, I don't see any of these companies listed as specialists in the field of manufacturing silicone hoses, I am pretty certain they are all getting them from one though.
