Default almost back

Two weeks ago, I bought a local 2001 996TT, almost a twin of the one I sold a couple of years ago. Car is unmolested except for Kenwwod head unit, 997TT wheels, and unknown aftermarket exhaust. Looks like the rotors are original, and had no spider cracks - never seen this before, at least in a car I drove. PPI showed zero over revs and a bad accumulator. Since a test drive, it has sat in a local shop getting the water pipes pinned. Since the engine was out, I had UMW clutch w/ lwfw and GT2 clutch mechanism installed, coolant tank changed. Changed plugs, coils, transmission and dif fluids, oil, and belt. Put in the 997 transmission mount and WEVO engine mounts. Already had divertor valves replaced. Getting Laser Interceptor HP Quad installed over the next two days. I want to know the baseline status of the vehicle when I start driving it.
Already picked up a set of stock wheels. Will be selling the 997TT wheels shortly. Will post pics this weekend when I finally get it.
Already have Kevin's data logger so I can flash the car ASAP.
The future holds a Europipe II Quiet, suspension upgrade, and an SSK of some flavor.
I will not track the car this time

Welcome back!

Owning one a second time around says a lot for the overall quality of the car.

i thought for pinning the engine could stay in the car. only welding req. the removal. if you dont mind omitting the laser setup what is the shop charging for all the work?

engine cannot stay in the car for either pinning or welding, that part of the job alone was $3,000, and is the going rate, if not on the low side from what I have seen

Default now with pics

spent the day bonding with the car. Wash, clay, polish, and wax x 2. Too tired to drive someplace for a nice setting. Took all I could do to back it out of the garage and find a camera and lens
