Tiptronic software upgrade?
Anyone here the NYC Metro area had this done?
Is it aftermarket software?
Where did you have it done? and how much $$$$?

There are upgrades for the tip. Faster shift and able to handle about 800 HP @ the crank. Stock limit on HP is about 650 HP @ the crank.
If you go over to 6 spit..err speed find a guy by the name BlackhorseTurbo. He had a bad *** tip when he worked for vivid racing. He did lots of upgrades to the tranny to handle his HP.

Burning Brakes
When I installed the EVOMS ECU upgrade I also got their Tiptronic upgrade to handle the extra power from the ECU plus exhaust switchover plus MAF upgrade. Everything matches up.

Bigger turbos. 30+ more HP & Trq
Reg=K16. X50 or Turbo S or GT2=K24.
A slightly differant ECU map from reg turbo.
It was a 17K option. Kinda dumb for 30HP. But to a 2nd owner it's awesome because the K24 is a great foundation to start mods on. Espeacilly if you go to the 18G, 1bar W/Gs, differant filter, 5 bar fpr, & new DVs w/ a K24/18G tune.
