Default titanium brake pad heatshields?

Has anyone used these with any success? Would it be useful or is it pretty much a gimmick? I've got the 6 pots with the yellow zircon piston inserts but anything that would help shield the caliper from heat would be good at the track....

I used them in my 911 sc race car with factory brakes. Are you having issues with fade? I bought mine from 3R racing in Denver and they proved they reduced the heat transfer. I know they work from pure numbers but cannot say for TT. 3R built many winning cup cars for World Challenge though. Talk to Randy if you call them, nice guy.
