Default Finally Broke 200 at the TX Mile

Been trying for several years. Conditions were finally favorable last month.

The car is a 996TT, stock block with EVOMS bolt ons.


Sorry GPS did not acquire lock until 105 mph...

What was all the white stuff flying off your hood at the launch? Tape?

The humidity was literally 100%. Tape got wet and came off.

Congrats man. I know you've worked hard to get this car to that performance mark. Some may not appreciate the level of effort it takes to get from zero to 200mph in one mile, but I certainly do...

Since car is now RWD, I needed to use Toyo R888s to get traction.

I was watching that thing pull like a freight train through 180. Holy crap!
