If the car has been flashed and had the rev limiter raised to say 7000rpm, everytime the car went over 6750 it would appear as an over-rev. This does not mean there is damage to the car.

Default flashed cars

Flashed cars with raised rev limits will have type 1 and type 2 over revs as well.

I agree that it doesn't mean it was done all at one time. It still seems like a lot of over revs. The 440 in revs 2 seems less of an overall issue than the 33k in revs 1.

I have to disagree You have no idea how far the rev 2 went, at least with rev 1 they hit the limiter. Rev 2do not! As I said in the past posts, my impression this car was tracked!

Sometimes when people track or autocross, they let the car bounce off the rev limiter instead of shifting into next gear when it is a short straight. It don't think it does any harm to the car.

Right. I was just saying that a large number of type 1 doesn't really mean much.
