I came close to buying 2 '05 S models and had PPIs done on both. They all came with the PCCB brakes, 6 pot fronts 4 rear yellow calipers and carbon rotors. They also came with an "S" logo on the bat wing trim piece above the console and the console leather wrapped and a few added pieces in leather beyond the full leather turbo package. The S model was built to bring the X-50 and PCCB brakes in a package for a reasonable price during the last year production of the 996 Turbo. I believe they also came with the steering wheel a mix of leather and aluminum look on the ring and possibly memory seats. A year and a half ago when looking I was familiar with everything in the S package. Regardless, looks like you have a nice car.

Brought the TT home yesterday and had some time to look her over carefully. Your right, its a Turbo X50 and I just took the "S" off of the engine lid with no reservations. The car deserves to be badged correctly. It's absolutely awesome, and I gave her lots of TLC with Porsche leather cleaner and conditioner, and detailing the Speed Yellow finish. With only 14K miles we will have many hours of fun and excitement together. No doubt I'll be needing more advice and guidance from Rennlist Forums and it's a privilege to be part of the Porsche family. Looking forward to some track time at Autobahn in Joliet, IL the end of April. Thanks for your help guys.
