Spark plug question
I'm about to change my plugs/coils and I have used Bosch FR6 LDC's #7410 for the past 6 years with no problems. When I made my recent parts order I made a mistake and I got Bosch FGR7DDP's #4303 instead. Has anyone used these or are they correct for a 996T?
Thanks in advance!

Do these platinum plugs work okay in our 996T engine's. I'm pretty sure I have seen 997T's using Bosch Platinums in some shops I visited. Ruf Germany actually recommended using NGK's or factory Beru's?

They may or may not work depending on plug temp and gap. I would check with your tuner or mechanic to be sure. I have put in a set of plugs that were not compatible out of the box and had misfire issues and had to change plugs....

Thanks for the info! The ones that didn't work for you, were they platinums?

They were iridium, but that was not the problem. The metal is not the issue, the gap and temp are the issues. I am running platinum right now, but they may not work for you since I have a lot of mods:
6 - Denso Double platinum
Stock Number: 3245
Part Number: PK20PR-P8

Unfortunately yes, but its not as bad as I thought. Just a time consuming job and I would hate to install the wrong plugs after all that work. My dealer wanted $1900 for the job with new original coils but I bought the Beru's from AutohauzAZ for $238 shipped.

Yeah it is not a bad job, but is a bit time consuming. First time is the hardest learning all the locations of bolts, etc.
