I personally like both looks. The problem with stock wing is that once the rams fail they are expensive to replace. And also, when you replace them they fail over and over again. Porsche really screwed up this system. I guess I might opt for gt2 wing once mine goes irreparably wrong.

I guess I'm just lucky; my Turbo will be 10 years old this month and the OEM wing has operated perfectly the entire time.

Exactly why the previous owner put the gt2 wing on it.
I found a aero package wing at LA Dismantler's and replaced my stock wing with it. My wing went up but got an error message anyway. I really like the aero wing and is still stock.
using my own empirical data gathered during my all too brief period of ownership of my last, as well as my current 996t. also by hearing and reading of countless anecdotal accounts of spoiler malfunction/failure, here, other forums, and through the real world experiences of other owners. in fact, i've never heard of anyone that did NOT have anomalous spoiler behavior at some point, or worse still, failures. they're all too common. i'd rank them right up there with our dreaded clutch slave/ accumulator failures, in terms of frequency of occurrence.
but surely, you've heard the tales? ( sorry..)
i've pretty much ruled out "driver error" at this point. but hey, what do i know...
