Silicone Boost Hoses
A while back there was a thread on boost hoses that were equal to, but about half the price of Samco. I think they were blue instead of red. Did a search but couldn't find it.
Does anyone know the brand? Wife is asking for x-mas gift ideas for my sons, but I seem to be the man who has everything.
Oldest is getting married and youngest is still in college. I'm looking for something they can afford together.

I was going to guess Forge Motorsports, but I don't see a kit for our car listed on their site.

Thanks for the replies. I don't actually need new hoses, but the existing ones are 7 years old, so it wouldn't hurt to replace them.
The boys just want to get me something for the car and $300 to $350 is about all they can afford. The ones I remember were in that price range.
I'll keep looking or come up with something else. Maybe a new CF shifter.

The Forge hoses show up if you select their valve replacement (which I have on my car)...

No affiliation to them, hoping to get a discounted set of the hoses at the Autosport show in Jan, so I hope they're still making them !

Forge are the industry leaders, but you will also pay ~$700 for them. The Porsche by Ken hoses are supposed to be nice too.

The forge ones from the link are $285 (185 pounds). That can't be beat. If I were going silicone (and i wouldn't... i don't really think there are benefits) i'd go with the forge ones. The porsche by ken ones are the forge ones (i think) but with a markup.

The Agency Power Silicone Boost Hose Set for Porsche 997 Turbo 07-09, is also advertised to fit my 2008 (997) 911 GT2. That makes sense, because the OEM part numbers for these hoses are the same on both cars, even though the actual turbos on the GT2 are different. But...
1) The Agency Power hoses aren’t the same length, nor the bends the same shape, as the OEM hoses, so I'm concerned about whether they’ll fit (we have not tried to put them on yet, pending word from Vivid Racing or Agency Power). See the attached pictures showing the hoses side by side to see why we're frowning at the fitment.
2) As you can see in the picture showing the inside of the hose, the ridge that helps hold hose the hose onto the turbo is much further inside the throat of the boost hose than it is on the OEM hose. The shape of the GT2's turbo housing will prevent the hose from being inserted far enough to engage that ridge without trimming the hose length. That doesn't seem right. What are we overlooking?
3) The hoses came with no installation notes or instructions, so we don’t want to trim or modify the hoses and void their guarantee not to blow off under high boost applications without talking to a technician of yours or Agency Power.
4) The hoses shipped without clamps (for the turbo end), and no notes or instructions on what clamp to use. Is the recommendation just to use the OEM clamp? A special high-tension or constant-pressure clamp that should have shipped with the hoses? Or something else?
