I bought a 2004 Slate green (unique color) 911 TT back in 2005 with 3k miles from a desperate seller. I paid 115K. Original owner contacted me would like to buy immaculate car back from me. Offering 90K.
Car is special to both families and only has 11,800 miles.

Sell it. IMO that's at least 25k over market depending on how unique it really is. Most low mileage 04's are going upper 40's or Low 50's.

Who knows what the future will be. That sounds like a great deal today.

 

What are you waiting for? SSST has it right, at least 25k over market. Take the 90k and start looking for a unique 997TT if you want to roll the money back in to another ride.

 

I'm confused. The buyer is willing to pay a 25-30k premium over what it is worth? I would have zero regret selling it and actually feel a little guilty.

 

I can't think of a reason NOT to sell it.

You could buy another 04 turbo with identical options, have it completely stripped and repainted in this "rare color" and still have $10-15K in your pocket.

 

If you're asking, the money is not important.

 

Sell it and buy a similar mileage 2007 997.1TT for equal money.
