Slow to fire up on hot weather start?

Slow to fire up on hot weather start?
After I park it hot weather for a few hours at work, I have to crank it a bit before it fires. It feels like the fuel is leaking down and has to pump back up.
No similar problem when cold statrting in my garagae or on a hot start after it's been running.
Any suggestions?
My very early 911's had this problem when the fuel pump check valve would fail letting fuel flow back to the tank.
Thanks for the help.

An excellent question.
To the op: symptoms read very similar to what my Turbo was manifesting and I had the car checked out. Tech tested the battery early in the day and it tested ok. He waited until later in the day and tested it again and the battery had lost around 40% of its power. A new battery cured the symptoms.
Sincerely,
Macster.

Buit if it cranks okay when you are expierencing this issue I doubt this is where the problem is. Could it be that the injectors are not holding pressure, and leaking down. If that were the case you could have a faulty injector or two. Once it fires up does it smell really rich? If not it may not be a leak down issue. Fuel pump issue could cause the same thing.
