Just added the UMW tune to my new to me '03. The results are just FANTASTIC. Best $975.00 you can spend on your car.

Mine was stock for the first 18 months I owned it, and was mapped about 6 months ago (Promotive if my memory serves me correctly). Very happy with it - tempted to do more, but at the moment I confess I can't really see the need.

Did you do any other changes recommended by Kevin: pre cat O2 sensors, new maf, new plugs, new coil pack? Making those changes is holding me back right now. Winter is coming...and tons of snow. My TT will hibernate soon. I will postpone this till spring.

So, I'll start with the O2's, then go to the MAF next. In general, I've found Kevin's advice to be spot on, and he's usually very conservative in order to protect you from blowing up your engine with detonation, which I appreciate. If you think about what he's asking you to be sure is in tip top shape is the ignition (coils/plugs) and engine control aspects (pre-cat O2's, and MAF).
I do my own work, so I don't have costs beyond the parts and my labor rate of $0.12 an hour

Tuned by Kevin with 5 bar and zero clearance hybrid turbos and Europipe 2 quiet exhaust. Had a flash only for a couple of years and would HIGHLY recommend at least a tune for ALL of you. Car is much more powerful and still totally safe to drive every day. Just tune properly for the octane you have available 91 or 93. Have fun!
