I dont think the 996tt has gone down in price since I bought my 996NA 2.5 years ago. You can find nice sub 40k mile examples in the mid 40's nowdays just like you could back then.

That is a very good OTD number. Good job.

Default I likely overpaid, but....

...the value truly lies in one's perspective. I figure time is money and with the limited amount of time we all have, spending a few thousand here or there to enjoy something when and where you want it, is valuable. The point being, why wait if you can afford it? The amount you may save by waiting for the right "bargain" will not amount to much by the time all is said and done.

I just paid $60k for a 2003 with 16k miles. White on tan with powdered black wheels........flawless. Mods were Techart wing (not a choice I would have made, but looks fine), EVOMS intake, and a map that I'm trying to figure out

Good luck and enjoy whatever you may find.

I think they bottomed out and are actually stable to rising....supply really is not infinite...crashing, etc.....

It is still a porsche turbo. it is reliable. It has the Metzger engine. And a new one is 140+. That makes me think it is a long term 45-55k car. I have seen C4S's go for 45k in silver with the NA engine, M96....that really gets me as my car is SO much better....whatever.

The 997.1 will be a long term 55-60k car. My best guess. Around here, they are still 99ish. Rarer in the midwest than in Florida, so perhaps a better price for the seller.
