Default Motor Mount DIY

Does anyone know of a link to a good DIY for changing the motor mounts on a 996TT?

Do you need to remove anything but the air box to get at the nut on the bottom? I can't see how you get to it, but haven't taken anything apart yet.

Did you try Renntech yet? They have an extensive collection of DIY threads. Definitely worth becoming a member there if you haven't already.

I found a 993 and a 996 NA thread over there, but nothing on a 996tt. Which has a few other bits in the way.

Guess I'll start with the air box and keep digging until I get there.

It really is that easy. No need for a DIY. This is the first step in changing anything on the top of the motor. After about 20 times it only takes me like 5 min to jack the car and drop the engine.
