I have no idea what Forgestar is (guessing a forged wheel?) but they sure do look good.

Not forged. Forgestar uses process called flow forming. Different then cast methods. Hence price. But they are only 18lbs in front for 18X9 wheel.

I have 4 sets of wheels for my car. The OZs in lower topic are mine as well. I have put 4000 miles on the car since I bought the car. So I would guess no more then then 1000. I primarily used these for DEs. I used the OZs for all my street driving. Though I have used the OZs at DEs as well. Some more disclosure on the wheels. They have never been bent or repaired. On two wheels I have used touch up paint for a few nicks. Matte black it is easy to touch up. But, there is a brand new perfect new front wheel anyway.

One more piece of disclosure. 2 of the center caps fall out during hard cornering. Therefore, I use plumber tape to make sure they do not fall out. During DEs, I take them out anyway. I think I am disclosed out.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I just checked out their website. Seems like a cross between forged and cast. Not bad.

GLWS! Seems like a smoking price for a nice set of wheels.

If I needed a set of wheels, I'd be all over these... Guys over on Renntrack are swearing by these on their 997 trackcars... Awesome Price and an amazingly lightweight option for not a lot of money!!

Had I not just bought a new set of TR's from Damon I would have bought these. Someobody buy them so I don't get any stupid ideas and end up with another reason to explain to my wife why I can't just collect something other than wheels.

Dell,

Any chance you have a picture of the TRs on your car?
