Yes, commonly done for track use as it is more economical to burn up steel rotors...

There is one for sale in New Mexico as well, Guy wants 38k for it... It can be found on the Albuquerque Craigs List.

Its an 2001, fairly stock (although it has a 1-Bar tune and a ssk, and a lightweight flywheel) It has 55k miles on it.

I've read you can just replace with standard (this guy actually took standards off and put the PCCBs on).

I thought I remembered that the guy had the originals, but not quite sure.

Also, separately, he says there is a warranty. I love the look of that car. I would be interested if closer to me.

And Like dinan, at one point they were the only or best game in town- no other tuner had the 'package' dialed in. Now there are a great many options for equivalent performance.
