Default Rottec Carbon Seats

http://www.rotteccarbon.com/seat.php

ANyone have any experience with the reclining Rottec seat? I'm thinking about them for my TT, but they're damn expensive ($3100/pr in graphite gray). But they look great. Anyone have 'em? Thanks. GBG

You think that's expensive??? 3100 is a drop in the bucket compared to what the real ones cost (11K retail but I've seen them as cheap as 7K). Personally I wouldn't buy a replica seat.

I guess that puts it in persepctive! Thanks LVDELL. In the end, I decided to just restore the leather on my stock seats and be done with it...

Probably the best bang for the buck. Did you do it yourself or pay a leather restoration shop? I am thinking of doing that for my wife's cab that has taken a beating from the sun.

I'm on the fence about seats. I want to keep mine but i want them to hold me in, yeah I know. I'll end up with some gt3 reps probably from rotec, he sells tons of them via 6speed.

The thing that y'all need to understand about the replicas is just that, they are replicas and NOT the real deal. I have a VERY hard time believing that the same safety testing and crash testing went into the replicas those goes into the real seats that are in the RS models (the real GT3 euro bucket seats). Sorry but you wouldn't catch me in the replicas. It only takes one impact to find out and you sure don't want a replica with your life in it's hands. Spend the kind of money you do on these cars and then skimp on seats? No thanks.

Agreed, same here. I am going to send the CAB to get done just as soon as the projects at the home stop so the wallet can recover
