A Windermere Porsche meet has some merit! I don't know if I can hang with the two X50's you guys have, I'm just a stock TT so I'll have some HP anxiety...

My friends flashed tt spanks my butt every time. At least the first 3 gears. They had the first Windermere car show a few months ago, I had the only P-car there, felt lonely. We need to do something about it. Open to any P-car. Let's do it.

I'm going to be working the next 2 Saturdays. Is a Sunday afternoon good for you all, or shall we wait for a Saturday (in the AM) that is ok with as many people as possible?

Thanks AJ. Wife and I have recently hit both Sand Lake and Winter Garden, so we're getting the hang of the area. We just got down here from NY a few weeks ago, so still adjusting... I'm going to call Zotz soon to start a service relationship. How do you get to and from, a taxi? Is Orlando Porsche any good? I have a Cayenne that I will bring there soon (still under warranty) so I will size up the place.

I'm new guy to area, so Winderemere P car meet sounds good to me.

I have had very good service from Porsche of North Orlando in Maitland. They are friendly and always treated me with respect even when I went in there with shorts, tee shirt and flip floops driving my pickup truck looking to buy a Turbo
As far as a get together sat or sunday are fine with me.

Either Saturday or Sunday for me as well. Since it looks like flpaindoc has to work some weekends, let's let him pick the day and time that works and we will start with that.

See ya around the forum!
Don is a nice guy....until it comes time to stand behind his work-then the niceness takes a hike. I had a very bad experience with him in which he replaced one part after another on my spec E30 BMW a couple yrs ago in an attempt to diagnose/fix an overheating problem. Finally replacement of the radiator fixed the problem, and he would never admit that he made a mistake in having me replace water pump and several other items that ran close to $1k in wasted expense. Can't recommend him. I'd recommend Titan Motorsports. Their specialty seems to be Toyota Supra modification, but they also have a couple highly modded 996TT's, and they have done some work for me on my Boxster. I've been quite happy with them. They are very professional.

Nope. It's Ron Zitza. And he no longer owns the shop in East Orlando. Ron used to own that shop but sold it to Don, the guy I referenced in the post above. Ron Zitza is a good guy and knows Porsche inside out. His shop is on Edgewater Drive just a bit north of College Park. The name of his shop is Zotz Racing. Don's shop (not recommended) is Zotz Garage.

Porsche of Orlando has always treated me fairly and professionally. Additionally they have at least a couple techs that have race experience and are used to dealing with modded P-cars. One of them is a guru on alignments. Highly recommend our local dealer.
