Default Sniffing around a 996TT in Middle East...Thoughts?

Here is what the guy sent me....Any thoughts or comments? Here is the text of his email....

I have a silver 996 Turbo with black leather interior, usual options plus sports seats, FVD Level 3 Tuning to 540bhp, sports clutch, sports exhaust, Techart wheels & rear bumper cover, 109,000kms, accident free car for *38,666 (w/exchange). I have known the car for several years and we have looked after it since we opened, all the tuning is done by us.

There are some stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet that I would have done (*750.00) and it has a C4S front spoiler on at the moment as the owner has a steep parking ramp at work and the original spoiler catches, I would replace this with an original one if I were buying the car (300.00 approx) other than these minor details it is a nice car, pictures attached.

Thoughts?

Hey there! Good luck with the hunt.

I lived in Al-Jubail, North of Daharan, for 11 years growing up from 83-94. Its a perfect place for a turbo. You can go 360+ KM/hr all day long on those desert highways..

Chao-
Are you an Aramco Brat?
Dhahran now has a 6 lane heading to Abqaiq but heavy with cops (Radar if you can belive it).
Riyadh has a 6 lane that only has a couple of check points, but you need to keep your eyes peeled, but it is a good get up and go ....
I discovered a stretch of road going from Riyahd to Jiddah that goes through a mountain section that is FULL of twisties- Was in a SUV back then, so would really like to do it in a PCar.....

looks clean and nice ... the price reflects the miles i would think. get a ppi done with a leakdown i would say with those miles. all in all i like it. the inside is sweet.

I happen to live in Dubai and just flew back from Jeddah last night from a business trip. I know the ARM garage well and they have a good reputation. Would be happy to take a look at the Turbo if you'd like me to check anything? Have just recently bought a 2001 TT myself from a private seller, and it's addictive...

Best, Jan
