Default Strange Noise

When I go over a bump, I get a noise from the rear passenger compartment that almost sounds like a cricket. I recall having the same noise in my C4S. Anyone else have this noise and figure out what it is?

sport seats? I have a similar noise and I think it comes from the seats. In my car, if I change the angle of the upright portion of the passenger seat (when vacant), I can usually get it to go away.

Thanks. Nos port seats in my car. It appears to be the rear side window behind the driver. Now I have to figure out how to fix it.

I have the same noise. Did you ever find out what is making it?

Yes. The rear window behind the driver moves and squeaks when I go over a bump. I took 2 very small pieces of dowell, wrapped them in black tape and pushed them between the window and the rubber seal at the bottom. Did both windows. Not very esthetic but you wouldn't notice them unless you were looking. Fixed the problem for now. I may look for a better solution when I get service done next time.

After reading your post I went to push on my side lites and sure enough the driver side moved a little bit. I took the rear seat belt cover out, and I found a big rubber washer laying on top of the foam. The bolt which holds the window in place was no where to be found. So the fix is a $1 bolt 6x12 and a $10 rubberized washer. And hopefully one less squeaky noise when driving over bumps!
