Anyone know where I can find Nav CD's for an '02 996? I just bought the car and there is not a single CD for it. Need MAP 7 (Southeast). I know it will be old...but I just hate that I can't do anything with it until I get the entire unit replaced.

Thumbs up

Went to Becker yesterday, had a prototype wire installed in the aux input that supports and charges iPhone 3G, current and classic iPods.
$110 for the wire and removal keys (free install).

Jealous - is this something they are selling retail yet, and can I do it myself? Obviously helps to be close to Becker, huh?

Yeah, it was nice to discover that they were only 30 mins away.
http://www.beckerautosound.com/ They sell a wire through their website - the production model uses an adapter to charge iPhone.

Its a simple install, but you need the removal keys. I just asked them do it since I was there.

Do you have a factory Nav?

I have a 2002 with Factory Nav and CD changer in front. Was hoping this would work - pull out the unit and use the Becker ipod cable in place of the CD changer cable???

I don't have factory NAV. I'm not sure if that changes anything. But, otherwise, its exactly like you say, pull out the unit and replace your CD changer wire with the ipod wire.

I ordered the iwire, taking its sweet time to get here. I went with the 3.5mm audio jack version as I already have a car power cord, which I think I paid $10 for. I can't see the sense in paying over 100 for an all in one cord.
