What is going to happen is He's gonna expect the 996TT to do things it can't currently with that setup, and that's gonna be it... I predict a full suspension and brake upgrade by mid summer...

Dell, don't say a word man... Just read the title to your thread!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Mike
I can just picture it....... Dell, we're not laughing at you but with you man!!

How much is the smoker-delete piece, and how easy is it to swap out? I have zero skills.....

Also - how much/how hard is the dual cubby?
The cubby is about $40 and is a piece of cake. It just "snaps" into place. I pulled the CD holder out (literally you eject one or two of the CD storage trays and then pull the unit out) and then slid the cubby in until it snaps into place.

The non-smokers rear center console insert that replaces the ashtray is also very easy and runs about $50. You remove the ashtray and that exposes 2 plastic torx screws that need to be removed. Then you just remove the old piece away from the rear center console a few inches so you can remove the window switches and the connector for the light. Replace the window switches and install back in the space with the 2 plastic torx screws and their little plastic receivers. You just leave the light connection inside the rear console as it is not used.

These are literally 5 minutes total to complete.

Ordered them almost 2 months before the car arrived and to make it even worse, I had them before I had a car picked out!

Dell,

Nice and all that, but report back when you're done with the girly mods and you spend some REAL money.

You ain't kidding Matt, which is why I will NEVER be delusional enough to think I can take it on track and do what the GT3 could do.

BD...I'm not turning my car into a track rat. Motons would only make sense if I put the car on a serious diet, replaced all the rubber in the suspension, and ran slicks. If not, that's a waste.
