Dell,
Where did you get the pedals from? Is the install difficult?

LINK to pedals. (they are for 997 but if you call they have the 996 ones)

Very easy install. Drill a few holes and then a few nut attachments to the bolts.

I heard a rumor that Santa has told folks that deliveries might be a bit late this year ... apparently he has a lot of things to drop off at a certain house in NC?

I don't think the Christmas tree at Rockefeller center in NY is big enough to hide all of Dell's "non presents" this year

New wheels and tires have finally been delivered and are sitting in my office for the winter. A set of turbo twists (new street wheels) are at the powdercoater since I decided to sell my Sport Technos.

There is another good bag from Rennline coming this week

The mods are slowing down for bit since I have been non-modding my Range Rover

Newest non-mod........

Wheel stud conversion kit

Tired of using the wheel alignment tool (2 per wheel to really do it's job well) so I have decided to do like I have on all my previous rides. Much easier to dismount and remount wheels.

Bought them through RENNLINE. Their customer service is top notch and will definitely use them again in the future.

Here is a picture of the product. The ball seat nuts are black zinc and look really sharp

I'll post a pic of the final product to this post when they are on the car. I need to run and get some high temp red loctite/permatex before I can do the install.

I'm getting slow in my old age. Evidenced by my protege ( ^ ) overtaking me and always a step ahead of me in the mods category and will soon pass my *** on track

Heading to Autozone later today

Dell,
I would consider purchasing Loctite in stick form, rather than the liquid.
IMHO, it's a bit easier to use. IIRC, you can get both red and blue in stick form...never looked for green.

Of course, this is for home theatre chair bolts, right?

Too late. Already went with the Permatex High Temp Red (27200). Had no problems working with it.

And yes, they were for the theater seating bolts

Ok.
Just thought the stick form would help prevent dripping Loctite onto the home theatre carpeting.

BTW, please remember to check the studs immediately after the first heat cycle.
I've seen studs not installed properly due to improper cleaning or lactate application.

Check them how? I don't want to break the threadlocker bond. I'm guessing check them by hand to see if they rotate at all?
