Default 2003 Exhaust tips
So did the 03 models have two different exhaust tip options? I thought they all had the "overlapping circle" design, but I think I found one that has the "eyebrow" shape of the 01s and 02s.

Was the stainless steel exhaust tip option what got you the "overlapping circles"?

My 03 X50 has large single oval one each side.

I know you're looking at an '03, but in '05 the stainless exhaust tip option was the overlapping circles.

The "true" quad look like you see on the 997's is what I would prefer. Does anybody have a source for that?

That is correct it was a $795 option.
