Yeah a steal to say the least. They do have the better CARR style bolts vs their WMC standard bolt offered which I was pleased to see. If it wasn't for this deal I certainly would have gone with the R&R's. They are solid rods for sure!

Right now I'm just waiting for some info on the slugs that are going to be made. Have to give LN a call sometime this week If I get a bit of time to do so.


What I do need to find/locate is a stock sleeve. #3 was damaged beyond repair when the pin gouged the bore wall, and if I remember correctly you can only buy the sleeves from Porsche as a piston/ring/sleeve assembly for ~$1100 each

no typical signs of it on any of the pistons or bearings/bearing sufaces, but doesn't mean there wasn't any.
