Has anyone here done one of the one mile shootout events like the Texas Mile or the Maxton Mile? If so, what speeds did you reach and what modifications does your car have if any? Thanks.

there are a bunch of people over at 6 speed with pretty heavily modded cars that ran the texas mile, speeds ranged from 180's to over 200, there a big thread on it with vids etc

There is a guy selling his 1000+ hp 996TT on 6speed that did 220+ MPH in the Texas Mile. Pretty impressive.
