Is the car a 993 TT or a 996 TT? I'm confused by your multi-post....

He's asked the same question in the 993 forum, the 993 Turbo forum and the 996 forum as well as the 996 Turbo forum. In some cases it's a '97 TT and in other posts it's a '01. Always a 4,000 mile black/black car.
The guy is obviously a moron trying to waste our time.

Not harsh at all......the guy just posed the SAME exact responce this morning on all 4 forums within minutes of each other. Think about it, how many '97 and '01 Turbo's are there out there that are black/black with BOTH having under 4,000 miles at the SAME auction? Odds are quite low. When he posts the promised pics I'll be glad to rescind my comments.

You obviosly know the answer to the question. If you are looking to buy in auction and sell retail there will be a 7-10k difference but will take time to move the car at a premium in todays market. If you are looking to buy a lot of car for the money to keep it, then look at 02 or beyond, prefereably a Turbo S or an X50. The price will reflect the cleanliness of the vehicle and they are much rarer that the Turbos.

YES! With an apology too. I will now do so....I SINCERELY apologize and stand corrected. Those 2 cars were auctioned off today. Supposedly the '97 went for $80K and the '01 went for $52K (I called Weil). I did not confirm the miles, though. Sorry BHM, my bad.
