Default C4S vs TT Differences

Can someone point to a link or give me an idea of the differences between a C4S and a TT? Currently have a 02 C4S that I'm trying to sell and want to consider a TT as my next vehicle. I know the C4S has a lot of the same suspension, brakes, body work but not sure of the engine differences (other than the TT!). Is this a different engine with the same RMS, IMS issues?

Thanks for the feedback.

Most definitely a different motor. The case is derived from the GT1 block, and does not share those issues.

Wing, intercooler, hollow wheels, front aero balanced with rear (slightly better downforce), full leather in many and more "upscale" standard interior afaik.

Torque.

^ + 1

C4S = wet sump M96 (RMS issues well known)

996Turbo = M64/GT1 derived lump (Metzger design)...perhaps the best production Porsche engine ever.
This engine has very few issues.

That's what I was thinking on the engine. Sounds like a great upgrade, the prices are getting very attractive. .. Now if I can just sell the C4S...

Other than the X50 package, is the engine output the same for the 2001-2003 models.

IIRC, there was discussion of a 5HP change from 2001 on...not really sure if 5hp is worthy of a discussion...

Coming from a 325HP to 415HP would probably be all the bump I need

If you have the means, then a turbo is a damn good upgrade. I came from a C4S, myself. The only other difference I have noticed (and I don't know if these were options on the turbo):

1- steering wheel center is leather stitched
2- rear view mirror is auto-dimming and the wipers are rain sensing

With a good ecu tune and exhaust, you can get another 80hp at the flywheel easy.

Do the Turbo S and get 444 HP; and, more importantly, 457 lb-ft of torque.
