Default Fake GT2 Wing

Is it me or does the fake aftermarket GT2 elements detract from the natural lines of the 996 Turbo? My car came with an aftermarket wing and something about it just didn’t look right on the car. Maybe it was just too low compared to a real GT2, or maybe it was that it just didn’t sit flat at rest with the lower element, but I recently swapped out the fake one for the original top element and the car just seems to look better, cleaner and less kit like. Something about that aftermarket wing just made the car look to bulky in the back.

Anyway, I am interested in what you guys think.

Cheers!

I think what can make it look funny to some people is using the wing with the stock decklid. The one's I've seen with the gt2 decklid (including mine, oem decklid with mashaw wing) look natural.

Good point -- wing height when retracted may look a little off.
