I had 2003 EVO 8. I purchased it new and paid 29,999.00 for it, I sold it in 2007 for $26,000.00! I posted it on a monday at noon and had a deposit by 2:00 the same day with a check for the balance the next afternoon! The only issues I had where peeling brembo's (mitsubishi replaced all 4 at 20,000 miles with pads) worn bolster on the recaro seat (mitsu put a NEW seat in), peeling clear on the rear carbon spoiler (mitsu replaced that also) and a ABS sensor that was broken because I mistakenly thought I had the same snow cornering ability as Gigi Galli! My wife hated it when I brought it home (bright blue) but now remembers it fondly (as her VW R32 goes in for yet another clunking noise from underneath).
I got the same smile on my face driving the evo as I do the 911.
