Default Performance Friction Replacement Disc Assemblies

We are happy to announce Performance Friction will be producing two piece full floating disc assemblies to replace the stock 996 TT discs. The engineering department at Performance Friction is working on the final pricing and expected delivery time. Once set, we will be accepting pre-orders.

Thanks,

-Michael

Got any 350mm discs to go with my upgraded 996GT3 6 piston caliper fronts? I would need direct bolt on parts.

Landjet, are you currently running OEM 997TT front rotors and a kit to space out the 996GT3 calipers?

Great news. I read in another thread that the rear hats are zinc nickel plated cast iron. I assume this is to allow usage of the rear hand brake. What are the front hats made of, and more importantly how much difference in mass compared to OEM front and rear? Thanks!

You are correct regarding the rears, front hats will be aluminum. Won't know weights (Rotational mass) until it gets through Engineering.

Thanks,

I upgraded to 996GT3 6 piston front, and rear calipers, 350mm 997TT discs at all corners, and it was a direct bolt up. Got the kit from Kevin at UMW. I keep cracking the front rotors though.

If the rotors you have are a direct bolt on for a 996 GT3, 350mm, we have them.

Thanks,

-Michael

That's a shame. I guess this is why none of the AMLS or Rolex series cars use Porsche rotors.
