Default Balt./Wash. Durametric Co-op

I've been considering buying the Durametric Enthusiast package for some time now but my recent airbag light has given me yet another nudge. The problem is that I am almost certainly buying another 911 in the next few years(anywhere from next week to 3 years anyway!). As the Enthusiast package is only good for 3 cars I would be restricted from plugging in to every car I look at during my next search. I would love to get the professional model which is good for an unlimited number of vehicles but the cost is ~$800 which seems a bit excessive for my purposes. It occurred to me that a local co-op would solve my problem and I thought I would test the waters here. Any interest? PM me. I'm in Howard County.

I asked Durametric about this last year. Should be no problem. This was their response:

Hello Ed,

Thank you for your interest in Durametric. Many people want to use the
Enthusiast kit for the very reason you do. Checking the over rev details
and other such information is possible using the Durametric kit - and it
can be used to do so beyond the three car limit. Once you have hit the
three car limit, however, you will not be able to reset any faults or
indicator lights. When you have finally purchased your 996, you can ship
the tool back to us and we'll reset it for you. This will allow you to
use all the features of your Durametric tool on your new car.

You can purchase the Durametric Enthusiast kit by visiting
www.durametric.com/buyus.aspx. If you have any other questions, please
feel free to contact us again.

Best Regards,
