996TT Cab
Hey guys, it looks like I jumped in feet first.
Any thoughts on this one? I offered 60K and he took it, only 12k miles.

Can't see the option decal very well in the picture, but it looks very lightly optioned, so perhaps it was a MY launch car?
Wonder what happened to the original wheels? IIRC, you couldn't order GT3 style wheels the Turbo.

I'm not so sure... photo could have been photoshopped.. how can we be certain?
To the OP- nice find, I bought my 2004 in Madison, WI... the winters have a way of 'softening seller resolve'... (nice neighborhood it looks like!)
I have an order guide for 2004 if you want to 'decode' any of the option codes on that underhood sticker- PM me your email. You also need a PPI... post a query here and on 6speedonline for people willing to give you recommendations. I recommend that they do a full "CPO inspection" and add a DME dump to look for any codes or overrev data.
I always recommend flying there to close the deal- I left on a Thursday mid day, arrived that night, owner picked me up at the hotel, drove it, bought it, picked up a temp tag, met the truck, loaded it, taxi to the airport, got home Friday night. Car arrived Tuesday!
Enjoy

PS Shipping I recommend DeMoise Trucking...but if you are closer that 1000 miles I'd drive..it's spring!

I just purchased the 05 TT -S Cab at the same dealer - $64K. It is well optioned and passed PPI with flying colors - also had them do a dump of the computer etc. The prices are really dropping. The time to buy is when everyone is selling.

Oh, you bought that silver S in the picture? That car is the shizzle.
Where did you get it PPI'd, was it local to Milwaukee? Everything came out ok?
In cruising auto trader tonight, I think 60k it's an OK price, nothing to shout about, but OK. There's a black cab at Newport Auto Center about 40 miles from me, same miles, for $65k, CPO.
How much is CPO worth on a car? I'm not normally too scared about dropping out of warranty, but a CPO would be nice.

I had the PPI done at the local Porsche shop - International - A CPO is nice to have but mine still has 5 months left on the factory warranty so I have time to really check it out before that expires. As long as the maintainence has been done on schedule there is not much to be concerned about in my opinion. When do you pick yours up? I can't get there until the 18th.

You're gonna love it. Got mine over a year ago and paid considerably more. Despite the soft market now, it still performed better than my stock portfolio did! I am just now getting mine back on the road after this obnoxious Michigan winter. Mechanic has it in the shop changing all the fluids and putting new rubber on. Can't imagine life without it!
