Has anyone else noticed tire noise from the p-zero's? The tires have about 7k on them. When they where new they where loud, now they are annoying.

I had Pzeros on my car when I bought it. They were very loud and wouldn't balance completely. I bought PS2's and am very happy. While I was at the tire store, the owner and long time racer, told me that the Pzero's have a belt shifting problem. I wouldn't buy them again.

The P Zero asimmetricos are very loud and willl only get louder with more miles. Once I changed to Michelin, the noise was more tolerable. I had a set of P Zero Rosso on a 996 coupe and I don't seem to recall noise problems.
While we are on Rossos, I had P Zero Rosso on my Cayenne and they are fine, although the Michelin Latitudes now on the car are much nicer ride.

The Pirellis are the worst of the choices for our cars. The "won't balance" issue is probably belt shift, and is incurable (absent replacement). The noise is a given. Their only redeeming quality is that they can be driven in slush. Throw them away, and go with Michelins (which can't easily be driven in slush). AS
