Direct bolt-on even though rotor diameter is increased?

for that money I rather do gt3 calipers+997 rotors

I dont do track (NONE) just tuned my 996tt and I will like to have more braking on my car. I believe that just upgrading the rotors + Pads + lines + fluids I will gather a better performance. (fluids & lines are BOUGHT)

I have these on my car, front and rear. I first had them with the 996TT calipers and spacers as Craig describes above. I later switched to the GT3 6-piston calipers in the front. With the 6-pots, you do not need the spacers. See photo below.
The first set of front rotors lasted 15-20 track days, including 6 at Road America, which is a very fast track which is hard on brakes. That was huge compared to the OEM cross-drilled rotors. Added them to the rear when I finished my stash of OEM rears earlier this year.
IMO - not really needed if you do not track your car. If you do, however, these are really worthwhile. I bought both sets from Craig. No affiliation. It was a very satisfactory experience.
