Default Is this for real?

Hey guys,

I sold my C4S a couple of years ago, but may get back in the game at these prices.

How about this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=250373942391

Am I missing anything? I know it's got 60k+ miles, but this is a $140k car at a $100k discount.

????

Wow! Cheap. Just do a PPI, so you don't have any surprises.

Miles are unusually high for the model year. I'd like to see the service records. Sounds a little too good to be true, but times are very strange. AS

my 03 has 66K so not to high for a 4 year old driver car.

Jim,
Perhaps my statement would be more accurate if it read "miles are atypically high relative to other similar model year cars on the market". I could still be wrong, but it strikes me that relatively few tt cabs are routine daily drivers. AS

Well it must have been a daily driver to have those miles. Still a very good car if the PPI checks out. These cars are solid and you could easily put another 60K miles without issues.

A few odd things in this listing but may be just mistakes and things that were forgotten.

I Googled this up but info on IS Imports is very scarce:

Name: Is Imports
Street: 1166 Higuera St
San Luis Obispo, ca 93401-3126
Phone: (805) 541-3825

That is what the current economy/the amount of cars made/new models out/etc. is doing to our cars.

996TT are the bargains of the century...

BTW - 60K in these cars (if maintain correctly) is nothing... get a PPI and go for it

Great feedback - I live about 200 miles south of the car, so I'll check it out and see what's what.

I thought the price was a mis-print. Crazy stuff.

Yeah, I know. But that is the reality... see the recent thread I created with a local car that is selling for 39K... with new clutch in place...

Best of luck and take photos to share.
