Default Newbie...is stock boost paek around 0.7-0.8 bar ?

Also was on it full throttle in 3rd gear and PCM failure and ABS failure came on, pulled over and Restarted and lights reset and it hasn't done it in 30 miles of hard driving, any ideas. One more thing the rear spoiler wont go down the one side seems locked and the other is down 1/4 of the way? Switch will not work? Thanks.

yes, the stock boost is supposed to be .7 - .9. I have the same issue with the PSM/ABS light coming on, I will take the car back to the dealer in a couple of days to get it resolved. The spoiler issue is a common problem with these cars, unfortunately it is an expensive item to replace. Do a search on the forum, I know that someone here took it apart and figured a way to fix it..
Good luck

first welcome to the site. second, if you want help with diagnostics you need to provide model, MY, mods, last service info. and miles...at least. third, get your codes read. they are stored in the DME accessible with a scanning tool through the OBD port (I recommend durametric). as far as spoiler goes...first inspect the pistons for any leaks, then try lubricating them and see if they can be exercised with the dash button. it is possible you need to refill the hydraulics (instructions on here). otherwise it is replacement....boost depends on the model standard, X50, S...

OK from what you posted....it has never had service, it is an '02 with K16s no mods...then boost should be .7-.8 max sustained. So your log-in is a bit of sarcasm?

3 ways to get codes:

1. get the durametruc software and cable and DIY
2. go to autozone and have them read the codes for you
3. go to the stealer and have them read the codes.

whichever you do, report them back here and we will help with diagnostics.

I just started getting the same failure psm/abs last friday night. It has happened only once at full throttle (around 70 mph, 12 degrees F no moisture).
I have not been able to recreate it however, must have fixed it's self!

OK let's be sure you are talking an actual code not your PCM kicked in due to loss of traction...that would of course be normal

Well, the PSM Failure/ABS message comes on (info screen at bottom of tach) and then both the ABS and PSM ambers come on, and then the info screen reads drive to shop.

This is called a CEL (check engine light). This sequence is typical of a blown MAF, but there are other possibilities. There are times a CEL can reset itself if the "event" does not happen again. A restart will often reset it and if the conditions do not occur again, then don't worry about it. I would still get the codes read in any case.

Wouldn't this more likely be a wheel speed sensor type of fault? Why wouldn't the actual check engine light come on? Wouldn't the MAF trigger an emission failure?

Seriously get the codes read otherwise it is pure speculation...if you get the warning "go to workshop" you did get a CEL.

Default cel codes

I have an 02', motor is stock except a Unichip (good product by the way), and get the ABS and PSM CELs when the speedo exceeds 125mph, but at no other times, which can be a little un-nerving. Resets after turning motor off then on again. It happens 100% of the time...

So unichip is not such a good product as it throws codes...
