Default Another ABS PSM problem but also getting Generator failure

I am getting the same problems with ABS and PSM light on but also get Generator failure. The voltage reading goes to max - 16 volts and the air con goes off but the headlights work fine. Yesterday was the second time it happened. I pulled off the road and turned it off and on again for abot 5 secs but the problem was still there. I took the car home and turned it off and then on again after 10 secs. The problem disappeared. No body seems to mention generator failure. Could this be a problem with the alternator?

I wish it was that simple. I live in the Philippines and very difficult to get a code reader. Any one you recommend so I can get one next time I am in the US?

Get a durametric....they give you the cable and the software just loads on your laptop. It will save you in the long run especially given you don't have access to many dealers.

I believe they will ship it to your house.

I just remember that I bought the cable when I go the Softronic reflash - I have since changed my reflash as I got the car tuned an flashed on a dyno in the Philippines. Can I get the codes after the car has been turned off and there are no lights showing any more or do I have to check when I have the ABS, PSM, Generator lights on? Thanks.

The codes will be stored in the DME until cleared. Durametric, PIWIS or PST2 will fid them and clear them.

When I cheack ABS/PSM 5.7 Panel, I get the following coming up:

I can clear them then turn off engine to clear check light on instrument panel. Any suggestions here? Thanks
