same funny thing happend to me when I was dring on the M40 from London to Oxford same years ago at 00.40 in the morning and I was trying to top end my 964...speedo was readind 291 Klms/h......and suddenly I realised that someone was trying to overtake me.....a 996 GT3 did of course ( easilly...)

On the weekends, avoiding Hwy 180, and Hwy 60 south of Suches, will generally keep you clear of the bikes.
A group drive in the Spring sounds good. Maybe by then the sand they have put down for the ice/snow will no longer be a factor.

Careful what you say....Wouldn't want to stereotype anyone.
I happen to ride my bike quite a bit (about 120 miles a week) and if people are being obnoxious and riding 4 wide then they deserve the scorn they get. Not ALL cyclists are like that though. It's usually the F-in people doing everything BUT driving that run us cyclists over.

fastest I've seen on the TT is 180 but this summer I'm determined to be wide open in 6th for as long as the road will let me. I want to see how fast my car will go. 2005 ttS

I don't know what it is about the 156 speed threshold....but that's been my high also. I've seen two or three cars that report that as their top speed....maybe that's when the alarm starts clucking?

Anyone every been tagged by a cop at these speeds? Would they arrest you?
I hit 165 on the tollway in Dallas and it scared the crap out of me.... no more. I hit 100-130 all the time, but above that I panic.

The day after buying my car & while driving it home from Virginia, I got pulled over & the officer said he clocked me at 99mph.....anything over 85 in VA. is wreckless driving, not just a ticket & I was unaware of this fact.
Needless to say, it required me contacting an attorney to prevent me from having to go back to VA. from Texas.....$$$

324 km/h (201 mph) EVOMS Stage 4 (K24 based kit) @ the time. Fastest speed to date was 326 km/h (203 mph) but no speedometer photo to verify the speed.
