for $30k more your in a 997 turbo (many are listed now for $105K range and I'm sure dealers would take high $90's) The economy is getting worse fast and we are not close to the bottom
..$65K is a bit high...I'd say mid-high $50's for that car..

Depending on options (Exclusive programme items), high 50's, low 60's.
Check to make sure the CPO is the new "expanded item coverage" version....I don't know if they 'grandfathered' in existing CPO's or not.

Whereas I realize the economy is in the tank...Bt $65K for an 04 X50 with 14K miles on it and a CPO warranty might be a bit high, but certanly has room for some counter offers.... The new CPO warranties are much more inclusive than the old ones.

I think DRG has it right. High 50's. But if the the car is 100% right and you want it, dont let a couple thousand stop you from buying it. It seems that buying the car has become a full contact sport and everyone is forgeting why we buy these cars in the first place. FOR THE ENJOYMENT. So forget what we say. If you like it, buy it, and enjoy it in good health.
By the way, wholesale on that car is 58K plus the X50 and certification. So 60 to 62 is still fairly well bought.

Make them an offer for 60, and work your way to a "fair" mid-point. You'll get yourself a lot of car for that price! Good luck!

Just from experience, I'd highly recommend any one interested in their cars to go visit the cars personally. I had signed all the papers on a turbo but decided to fly out at the last minute to check it out and close the deal in person and the car was not as described. Not sure if they "missed" the body work done or the cracked tailight but it's by far from "near-perfect" condition.
