Thanks for the Renn Tech link wross. Great site!

MK -- I found this on the Renn Tech site. If you feel like trying to fix it, you might want to give this a reads. Otherwise, a new Key Fob is probably in your future.

Sorry but I don't have a part number for a new one and can't remember the cost except that it seemed ridiculously high -- more than $300 is my vague recollection. B--

Default Update Follow-on - Key/Alarm problem

Well......after fooling with the alarm antena and an intermittent key/remote for too long, I replaced the key head and had it re-programed.....that did it. Amazing that both of my keys didn't work.

Cost: $92 for the key head + shipping from Sunset, and another $50 cash to my local indy to program it (20 minunes + he had to go through the dealer to get the data for the car that is required in addition to the immobilizer code that comes with the key head).

He showed me that he often can slap a bad key head with the back of a screwdriver or other wise and get intermittent operation proving that the system is ok and the key is bad (far more often the case he says).
