FS: Evo V-Flow Intake for 996TT and question about selling my GIAC chipped ECU
hey guys, I'm selling my Evo V-Flow intake from my 996tt...I'm asking $400
please email me if you're interested.
also, question....I'm looking to sell my ECU with GIAC chip...what is a good price to ask for this?
I'd like to get a stock ECU in exchange as well as cash. I can have the ECU cloned so it will work in any car.
Any advice would be great!

look at the fvd web site, site sponsor, and look at what they are asking for a back-up ecu. add some more $$ for the GIAC. I do not know what a GIAC flash goes for....

I sold my GIAC "license". You want to talk to Andrew @ GIAC.
After this is agreed to by Andrew and your installer-you will send your DME to where the program bought/loaded, they unload the GIAC program and return to stock and send the DME back to you. The buyer will need to send the DME to where you had it loaded, they will transfer the license and program the DME.
I have heard that the GIAC software is encrypted on the DME and you should NOT load stock program over the GIAC- will mess things up- you need to have it "unloaded". I could be wrong, but I wouldnt risk it.
I sold my for $1200 on eBay.
