Default EPL #s Whp and 60-130 on k16/k16g kit w/speedtech exhaust

Ok so I got my car back from EPL and I got the WHP figures from EPL's dyno and the car is making 457 Whp up from 326. When we ran the stock HP #'s it was 75 degrees and humidity was low. When we ran the new HP figures it was 90% humidity and 90 degrees. I will eventually run the car on the Dyno again when i can get the temp and humidity at the same levels.

But on to the post-mod 60-130 pulls. I ran 5 times same places i ran the original pulls pre-mod, i could not run 6 times due to police showing up and parking themselves to catch speeders. I have averaged all 5 pulls together and averaged 10.2 for my 60-130's i am not sure how that relates to others but that is a definite improvement over my pre-mod times. I will take the car to the track and run some 1/4 mile times just to see what i get this weekend.

I am extremely happy with how the car feels and how it runs. The only issue i have is my own fault and i had Tony not put in the spacers on the exhaust to cut down on the drone and it was a big mistake. I have asked him to ship them to me so i can install them the drone is way too loud for me. Although at WOT the car sounds amazing even my wife commented on how mean it sounds.

Will post more info as i get it. Anyone who would like to meet and run some #'s just drop me a line.

I ran these starting at 55 mph and in third gear so please note the times would be faster if i had the momentum from starting from 0mph. If i do the same exact thing when i get the car back it will give me solid data on how much the EPL mods helped.
You really need to do a legit 60-130 run... flat road, no curves, start at at least 40 mph, etc. (let's get together and get some real times ) However, using the same methodology, looks like a 2.5 second improvement in much hotter weather. Congrats! I'd call that significant.

Posting the actual before and after 60-130 graphs would help, the numbers really don't mean much without them since slope can have a significant effect on times.

Default as I said in previous post. I asked for help getting the data

from the SD card and didnt get any replies. So the best i could do was run the 60-130 at the same mile markers on the highway under thte same scenario of 55 mph in third gear.

What everyone wanted to see was the improvement over my stock runs and thats what i posted.

I welcome any attempts to extract more data from my driftbox and anyone that wants to meet to do so. I can say this without a doubt my times have improved significantly in worse weather doing the same thing over again post-mod.

I don't want to speak bad for the K16/16G but I think 10.2 sec isn't very spectacular,I have the K16/24 and I run a 9.1 sec and a friend of mine has oem K16 with upsolute flash and he runs 10 sec.

Default My best run was a 9.2 and was 90 degrees with 90% humidty

I also had just driven the car home in rush hour traffic from Manhttan and it took me almost three hours to get home. So needles to say the car was hot and conditions really stunk. The reaosn i ran these runs is becasuse these are almost the same conditions I ran the baselines in. Except the weather was low humidity and it was 70 degrees. It also only took me two hours to get home from work that day.

Most people wont post runs they did in crap conditions or average them out. Im simply showing that im not going to post #'s only on a cold day or only my best times.

I can almost bet that on the first cool day ill be in the low 8's but we may not get a cool day until the fall.

How many shifts, etc? It does seem kind of high.....I know Adam Bowles just ran a 6.96 with the 24/18 setup and stock fuel system in the same weather. Get that data to Scott so he can give you some feedback on how to improve it.....Like you mentioned, I would think you should be able to get into the low 8's pretty easily!
Good luck with it, keep us posted!!!
