Does anyone see anything tragically wrong with this car? Carfax checked out, and I will have a PPI done at Hennessy Porsche.

Make sure you agree on a written checklist of what they will do in a "PPI"... I usually use the CPO checklist AND add a dump of the DME to look at any codes as well as type 1 and 2 over-rev data. Just calling a dealer and asking for a "ppi" is almost worthless... who knows what they will inspect and what criteria they use.

Georgia cars freak me a bit, due to the ability to 'wash' titles...has it always been titled in GA? I'd strongly suggest you talk to the prior owner.

PS Did you google the vin? Here: http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...r_id=244336729

$1000 less than the ebay deal closed for....

Do that google, couple of other places it shows up.

Googling the VIN is great advice. That prevented me from buying a tt that was being misrepresented.

I should have tried that and saved 1k Well if anything comes up in the ppi, I'll know they have at least 1k extra in the price.
