Anybody seen this show? Just caught an episode where they did a shoot-out at a National Guard base. Basically setup a high-speed auto-cross course and staged head-to-head races.

The finals was a 997 TechArt vs. a 996 "Turbo" from Alex Djordjevic. Alex's 996 was insanely fast - claimed to have 1,000 hp! He never did reveal what he had under the hood. Anybody know? It passed the 997 TechArt like it was standing still on the back straight.

I thought I tivoed it so I only caught a few scenes , these motors can really crank out massive power. Even the Viper could not outperform the turbo. I also wonder what mods were performed on the 996.

The dusty runway definitely gave the advantage to the AWD cars. I'm guessing Djordjevic had some nitrous since he wouldn't reveal his secrets.

Nice job Alex! Reading the other thread, sounds like you're going to take the TT to the Texas Mile in October. Good luck! Look forward to hearing how it does out there.

Thank you Dave. After her final tune, she will to a couple of quarter and half mile runs before being parked until October for the Texas Mile. The wind tunnel data indicated that she is good to go up to 252MPH and she has the HP to make it there....the only question remains if 5280 feet is enough?
