OT: What's the fastest/best handling/best looking car with 4 doors?
I'll be using this car as a daily driver (40 miles per day). Need 4 doors, lots of hp, and great handling. I'm looking at the M5, E63, S6/S8. (The new M3 sedan is too small for me.) Am I missing any? Any preferences? All opinions welcome. Thanks.

Thanks Manny. I was considering the Cayenne (either GTS or TT), but it's really too big for my needs. Plus, the sedans that I mentioned (M5, E63, S6/S8) blow the doors off any version of the Cayenne because they all weigh 1000 lbs less.

It's as small as an M3, so you will probably write it off, but many enthusiasts and journalists agree that the RS4 is, by most accounts, the best-handling, most fun-to-drive 4-door sedan available. If you were able to wait 2 years for the new model, you would have a car that would drive even better and have a significantly roomier interior. If size is as important as you say, the Maserati is supposed to be great for it's size - more so than the m5 and E63.

Mercedes S65 is an awesome daily driver if a big luxury sedan is acceptable. 604 hp and 738 tourque. If you want to go with sometihing smaller I like the AudiRS4 its bigger than an M3 but smaller than the S65.

I am driving a Cayenne/S while mine 996 turbo is in for repairs. I love the C ayenne/ S !!! I have been driving it for about a week and like it more every time i drive it. I can't find anything about it that i don't like.

Dealer lots are flooded with this Maserati. They're selling for 20k below sticker from what I'm told. It's a beautiful car (IMHO) and not too common on the streets of Boston. I checked out the vehicle from the dealership where I purchased my Turbo.
Have you considered the redesigned Infiniti FX? The FX50 should be very quick.

Thanks guys for the input. The maserati and S65 are a bit too pricey fo rme, and the RS4 is not available in an automatic. I'd love to go for the Panorama, but everything I've read suggest that it debuts in the US as a 2010 model year in late 2009. I can't wait that long.
The C63 is an intersting beast that recently caught my eye, but it looks kind of plastic to me. I'm still leaning toward the 500 hp M5.

Without going super high end, I find the following models interesting and I would be shopping these:
1) http://www.jaguar.ca/ca/en/xf_new/hi...troduction.htm
2) http://www.lexus.ca/lexus/experience...62V&year=2008#
3) http://www.mercedes-benz.ca/index.cfm?id=6975
All of the above look like a lot of fun. The Jag would get pretty pricey with the supercharger though.
