Default Is this the drain plug for the front differential?

Does anyone know if this is the drain plug? Any clue where the fill plug is? I can't seem to find it.

Not sure about the drain plug, but I am wondering what that brown slime is? That is some nasty lookingcrap, and what did you do to clean it off ?

That's cozmalene{spelling?}, an anti corrosive or anti oxidizing material applied before shipping. Every Porsche comes from the factory with it. Some people remove it and some don't.

That covers the bottom of my car and every car. I think it would be foolish to remove it.

Yes that is the drain, and the fill is to the forward and upper left. If I remember correctly, it's a 17mm.

The front diff will take approx 1.8 quarts when drained completely and the tranny will take a bit more than 3.5 quarts. Just get the car level and fill until the fluid starts dripping out of the fill hole.
