EPL`s K16/16G Review
I installed Tony`s kit about 2weeks ago and after installing the Turbos and ECU, I had 3 problems-NONE of which were attributed to EPL.
prob#1 DV`s were leaking and thanks to Sharkwerks, problem solved.
prob#2 Threw code P0234- hose from frequency valve to wastegates was leaking at the Tee behind the motor. Replaced hoses-problem solved.
prob#3 threw code P0234 (again). Replaced faulty boost frequency valve ($27) and this fixed problem.
Now this car drives like a bat out of hell!! Quick spoolup and great power and also very much like stock when around town or in stop and go traffic. I had the Proto 24/18G setup but I did not want to upgrade the fuel system to make 700HP, so for me this was a no-brainer as these kits are close in HP levels. My car also feels faster than other K16/24 kits that I drove. I already got the before dyno #`s and I`ll get the new numbers, 60-130 times etc. First though, like many of us that upgrade in power, I need a new clutch. ( it slips just a little in the sweet spot of the torque in 3rd gear and higher) But for now guys this car is a blast to drive.
